Sport Festival

With the collaboration of Wukro St. Mary’s College and Wuro Education office, on slogan “Sport for Peace and Development”, held in St. Mary’s College in 10 different types of sport (football 36 teams, basketball 8 teams, handball 4 teams, badminton 3 teams, Cycle 4 teams. Athletics 6 teams, Ground tennis 10 teams, Skating 6 teams, Teakando show, circus show), in total 1382 directly participated in the competitions and daily more than 3500 people were attending for one full month.

During the competition, the participation of all the technic committee, the amateurs, administration of wukro town, the referees, the securities and Wukro education office was extremely high.

Finally, the awards have been given to the winner teams, in a way of cups and T-shirts respectively to the type of the game. Totally to facilitate all the above competitions, and for the awards, more than 550,320.00 ETB is expended. We thank you so much for the sponsors who have supported financially to the above events.
