Wukro St. Mary’s College has performed an evaluation program for the teaching –learning process of the academic year of 2017 E.C in Mekelle Don Bosco Poly Technical College on 12.11.2017.

As introduction, Rev. Abba Hagos Haish, managing director of Gebremichael Catholic School, provided us the identity, the mission and the objective of the Catholic Church in relation to education that the main objective of the Church is to develop the whole human formation.

After this remark, all department heads present the performances of their department and all the activities performed during the year.  All strengths, weaknesses and challenges were mentioned from each department.   Finally, the vice dean and the dean reflects on the general outcome of the year, they recommended to read the current situation of the trainees and to help them morally in order to continue their training.

It was a good opportunity also that Abba Estifanos G.meskel, a member of Salesian of Don Bosco was come for a short visit to Mekelle, and he empowered us how to manage and help the traumatized society specially our new generation.  He mentioned also the experiences of many countries in the world how they managed the post war situation. He highly recommended that how the educated people have more responsibility to heal their society.

With this, the evaluation program has finished and in the evening, we came back to Wukro. It is with a prayer to God to keep us all in health and in peace for the next year.
