From May 4–9, 2026 G.C., the Ethiopian Catholic Church Diocese of AdigratWukro St. Mary's Institution Social Development management team, together with major project stakeholders, conducted a field visit to the Livelihood Restoration and Recovery Project areas.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of project activities being implemented on the ground. These activities included solar energy installation in two primary schools, canal construction in Kilteawlaelo and Tsiraewonbertaworedas, natural resource rehabilitation in Gule and Negash, irrigation practices in Saz, Gule, and Mahbereweini, and livestock production activities in Negash and Saz.
The field visit helped project staff and community members evaluate the progress of planned project activities, strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, increase motivation, and encourage timely implementation of the remaining activities.
